Farewell, My Lovely
Dimanche 7 mars 2010|
IMDB rating: 7.00 Plot: This, the second adaptation of Raymond Chandler’s novel, is much closer to the source text than the original – _Murder, My Sweet (1944)_ (qv), which tended to avoid some of the sleazier parts of the plot – but still concerns private eye Philip Marlowe’s attempts to locate Velma, a former dancer at a seedy nightclub and the girlfriend of Moose Malloy, a petty criminal just out of prison. Marlowe finds that once he has taken the case, events conspire to put him in dangerous situations, and he is forced to follow a confusing trail of untruths and double-crosses before he is able to locate Velma. |

Fellow Ramadan Citizens: Need Some Help?
I was wondering if one is new to salat, what can one do to gain knowledge on how to pray?
Are there any websites? Please provide links.
Also, speak from your own experience. How did you learn salat? Was it a parent or guardian who helped you?
Or did you learn yourself? If so, how?
My other question is: What punishments do we face on Judgment Day for not saying Salaah?
For now, farewell and have a lovely night.
The purpose of Salah is a lot more than following few rituals. Salah is the second Pillar so it must stand on something and must be support something. Only Allah(SWT) know best, rather than concentrating on hell and punishments seek Allah(SWT) forgiveness, who is most forgiving, merciful, gracious and kind. He says repent and I will forgive.
Many websites explain Salah, the following I’ve found that explains the essence of Salah, and its benefits and reasons;

I never was able to find things online that I thought were very useful so I went to my mosque and there I was given several little booklets that aided in learning proper salat. I suggest you do the same thing. It also helps because you can ask someone at mosque for help on any issues you don’t understand.

If you don’t accepr Jesus Christ as your personal saviour and receive him in your heart as your Lord and master. You could wind up in the lake of fire, where there will be wailing and nknashing of teeth.Suggest you read Revelation 19 and 20. Then 1st JN. and John.

Salaam
My mum and nan taught me how to pray
Personally, I think that for someone who is new to salah, it would be best to get another person to teach them.

I was new to Salat recently, and I asked my mom if I pray in the correct way. Unfortunately, I didn’t pray it correctly, so she taught me instead. I was so lost and confused, so I went to a website (IslamicFinder), and it is extremely helpful.
