Sands of Iwo Jima (1949) IMDB rating: 7.10 Plot: John Marion Stryker is the ultimate Marine, a tough rifle squad leader who in 1943 is assigned a squad of new recruits saddled with three veterans and an old enemy of Stryker’s from previous duties in the Far East. One recruit in particlar is a source of friction with Stryker, Peter Conway, whose father was Stryker’s CO at Guadalcanal and who felt his son was too soft and cowardly to be a Marine. The squad grows more and more resentful at Stryker’s increasingly brutal training regimen and his lack of sympathy for the varied personal problems of the recruits, but his determination to mold them into fighting men helps save their lives when the squad is landed at Tarawa in November 1943 and Stryker risks his life to blow up a Japanese bunker that has slaughtered Marines trapped at a log wall. The now battle-tested squad becomes more closely-knit and Stryker’s relationship with the men warms as the squad eventually finds itself in the bloodiest island battle of the war, at Iwo Jima.

AM i crazy or is this really happening?
ok, im 12 and this is wut is happening. Wenever i go 2 sleep i have nightmares of seeing myself in bed sleeping and i doesnt seem scary but it is, im on a neighborhood street and under a lamp post theres a little kid standing there with blood in his eyes. Then i see a white face with black eyes and sharp teeth on him. i have these dreams everynight. then wen im awake at skool i feel cold breathing on my neck. wen im at home sometimes i hear my name in a whisper and shuffling in the night. i also see like shadows. wut is wrong with me this hass been hapening over 2 weeks. the dreams wake me up and then i hear my name being whispered. but my house is not haunted because this hapens at skool 2. wen im walking to get lunch my stomach starts hurting beacause i feel like something is watching me. its been going on 4 2 and 1/2 weeks. wut is iit>>>???

In order to prevent nightmares you can try meditating before sleep, or trying to think of something positive. Or try lucid dreaming, where you are conscious that you are dreaming when you are dreaming. I don’t know how it works, though, I’ve tried unsuccesfully before but you could look it up online or buy a book about it.

As for the rest of it, it may scare you, but in reality (sorry kid) it’s probably just your imagination.

Finding a location in Berlin?
Hi

Is anybody Local to Berlin; or knows Berlin very well? I am travelling there in a few weeks and need to track a location down.

Ive seen the film "The Baader Meinhof Complex" and would like to see Ulrike Mienhof’s gravestone.
Ive been on Google Maps and tracked the location to:

Heilig-Kreuz-Kirchhof, Mariendorf,
Cemetery, which I believe is North of Tegel Airport.
Ive found U-Bhan stations around the area although they look a distance away. Does anybody know if the cemetery is in realistic walking distance; and how long it would take to walk from the nearest U-Bhan Station?

Also is the cemetery large; is her grave easy to locate. Ive tracked down its in "Zone A"? Does anybody know where that is in the cemetery?

In reality Ulrike Meinhof is burried in the city of Stuttgart not in Berlin so you won’t find her gravestone there.
The burial was very controvers at the time the major of Stuttgart defended the right of the terrorists to get a burial place and said that with the dead even terrorists aren’t to be considered as public ennemies anymore
